Phys., vol-80, issue-3, 1325-36 1996. And 2) Bordage M.C., Segur P., Christophorou L.G. and Olthoff J.K., "Boltzmann analysis of electron swarm parameters in CF4 using independently assessed electron-collision cross sections", Journal of Applied Physics, vol-86, issue-7, pp. 3558-66, 1999. In the second paper, the recommended values for indirect vibrational excitation cross section, total ionisation cross section and cross section for the dissociation of neutral fragments were given by Christophorou et al. (J. Phys. Chem. Ref. Data 1999 28, 967). Elastic momentum transfer, attachment and direct vibration cross sections came from Christophorou et al. (J. Phys. Chem. Ref. Data 1996 25, 1341). Superelastic collisions were used in swarm calculations. Calculated swarm coefficients are compared with experimental data for drift velocity in pure CF4, and Ar-CF4 mixtures (from 0.1% to 30% of CF4), transverse characteristic energy in pure CF4 and longitudinal coefficient in Ar-CF4 mixtures (0.5, 5 and 100% of CF4), and ionisation and attachment coefficient (pure CF4).
